CALL FOR PAPERS

Dear Colleagues,

We are very pleased to invite you to submit papers to AMCIS 2005 - the Conference on a Human Scale, to be held at Omaha, Nebraska, from August 11-14, 2005.

The Calls for Papers for various Mini-Tracks are available at the conference web-site at
http://amcis2005.isqa.unomaha.edu/callforpapers.htm

You will find the mini-tracks organized into two groups:

1) SIG-sponsored mini-tracks, and

2) Non Sponsored mini-tracks listed by research area.

To view information about a mini-track, click on the List of SIG or NON-SIG Mini-Tracks, and then click on the title of a particular mini-track to find the description and other details regarding the mini-track. We highly recommend that you contact the chair (s) of the respective mini-track to which you plan to submit your research, and obtain feedback before you start developing your manuscript. Mini-track chairs have requested that all authors submit an abstract via email prior to submitting their papers on the AIS Review System. The deadline for abstract submission is February 1, 2005.

We will soon post detailed instructions at the conference web-site on how to submit a paper via the AIS review system, and also the due dates for submission. In the meantime, please note the following general guidelines that have to be followed.

Guidelines for Paper Submission

1. Submit abstracts via email to the appropriate mini-track chair(s) by
February 1, 2005.  This is an important step to ensure that you will submit your paper to the correct mini-track.

2. Submit final papers via the AIS Review System by
March 1, 2005. See the conference website for details: http://amcis2005.isqa.unomaha.edu under "Paper Submission Guidelines".

3. To support broad-based participation from many researchers, we suggest that authors can submit any number of papers but present only once during the program.

4.
Copyright Information: Submission of a paper to the conference represents the author's agreement to allow AIS to publish the paper in any written or electronic format for distribution to all interested parties in perpetuity with or without compensation to AIS and without compensation to the author. The parties understand that the author is granting a nonexclusive license and all copyrights remain the property of the author.

We also request that you volunteer your services as a reviewer by contacting the chair (s) of the mini-track where you wish to serve as a reviewer.

We look forward to seeing you at Omaha!

Sincerely,

Dan Robey and Radhika Santhanam
