CALL FOR MINI-TRACK PROPOSALS Dear Colleagues, After an enjoyable AMCIS conference in New York, it is time to look forward to Omaha, Nebraska, and prepare for AMCIS 2005 -- A Conference on a Human Scale! With great pleasure, we invite your proposals for mini-tracks. While channeling proposals through the SIGs is the best idea, we are prepared to receive independent submissions as well. You can submit mini-track proposals by email to: AMCIS2005Proposals@lists.unomaha.edu The deadline for proposal submissions is September 17, 2004. Proposals should typically be about 1-2 pages long. They should provide a brief one or two paragraph description of the main theme, its importance and relevance to information systems research and practice. They could also list some potential topics that will be covered. Each proposal must list names and contact addresses of mini-track chair/s. Panels, Workshops and Tutorials Please note that this year we have a separate and independent track for panels, tutorials, and workshops. If your proposal relates to any of these items, please send your proposals directly to: AMCIS2005Panels@lists.unomaha.edu Due dates and guidelines for panels, tutorials and workshops will be announced later by the chairs overseeing those parts of the program. Be sure also to visit the conference site at http://amcis2005.isqa.unomaha.edu to obtain more information about the conference, the specific themes for AMCIS 2005, and the beautiful city of Omaha. We look forward to receiving your proposals and to helping you create a successful program for AMCIS 2005! Dan Robey and Radhika Santhanam |
